I've been a photographer for almost 6 years - almost 3 years FULL TIME! As a kid/teen, concerts were (and still are) my home. I was gifted a point and shoot camera for Christmas one year and to remember the moment, I'd bring it to every concert I went to. Eventually, I'd bring it to every sleepover and event. Snapping photos has always been important to me. I'm sure 12 year old me would absolutely LOSE it if she knew this would be the start of something amazing. 6 years in - 75+ weddings of all sizes and hundreds of love stories documented and no signs of stopping anytime soon.

My Approach
Once a lover, always a lover.
I've always loved love. Growing up, I would read all of the mushy gushy teen novels and obsess over romance movies. It sparks joy in me whenever a couple tells me about their love story. I want to authentically tell your story. I want to go where you first met each other, show me your favorite date night or the house you raised your children in. I feel there's so much pressure to capture the "perfect" photo. I truly think that the way to get those moments is to be yourself and document your life the way you live it. I start my sessions off slow and let you loosen up. My approach is for you to see me more as a "fly on the wall" than directly positioning you into poses. I want you to feel light and bubbly, tons of deep belly laughs and genuine smiles. When I'm photographed, the worst thing I could be told is to "smile." It's FORCED and unnatural. When it comes to sessions with kiddos involved, I've found the best photographs come from candid moments.
